Somnox, a robo pillow that helps you fall asleep effortlessly!

Despite the fact there are other ways that could asset you with your sleeping problems, there’s still millions of people worldwide suffering from some kind of sleep disorder, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has described sleep deprivation as a public health epidemic.

How does it work?

The new robot that holds the name of Somnox has a soft touch and works by a mechanism that simulates the breathing pattern and helps people sleep comfortably, using a soothing stable move and sound effects. All you have to do is hug the pillow in your sleep. Once you fall asleep the device will automatically reduce its volume and switch the sound off.

Many studies have shown that feeling a breathing rhythm can reduce stress and induce sleep.

The new invention could help eliminate the need of sleeping pills that may lead to sometimes addiction and misuse of the drug.

Somnox robot is currently available at Kickstarter.com to obtain the necessary financial support in order to start manufacturing.

بعد موجة الجنون التي اجتاحت العالم بسبب العملات الرقمية، أعلنت الشركة ذات المئة عام أنها ستستثمر في تكنولوجيا (بلوك تشن) ، وأنها تطمح مستقبلًأ إلى إطلاق عملة رقمية مرتكزة على الصور اسمها (KODAKCoin))، وقد ارتفعت أسهم الشركة 125% على وقع هذا الإعلان.

ففي تقرير نشرته ال (سي ان ان ) فقد أعلن الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة “جيف كلارك” بأن هذه التقنية سوف تحمي حقوق المصورين وأن  “كوداك” إنها ستستخدم تكنولوجيا “بلوك تشين”، لمنصة “KODAKOne”، لمساعدتهم بإدارة حقوق صورهم، وستستخدم هذه العملة الرقمية في التعاملات المالية عند موافقة المصوّرين منح ترخيص لاستخدام أعمالهم.

وبالوقت ذاته فقد عمدت عدة شركات إلى دمج اسمها مع العملة الرقمية “بلوك تشين” مثل شركة   

 Long Island Iced Tea Corp” “

حيث تحول اسمها إلى  Long Blockchain، وشركةVaptek”” المسؤولة عن صناعة السجائر الالكترونية حيث أصبح اسمها “Nodechain … ترى هل تتبع بقية الشركات الكبرى هذا الموضة الدراجة أم ستحمل الأيام القادمة نوعًا آخر من جنون العملات الرقمية؟؟؟

هل يلغي الروبوت عمل الطبيب؟؟

مع التطور التكنولوجي المرعب، باتت الاختراعات تحدث فرقًا كبيرًا في عدة أعمال حتى وصلت إلى حدّ التدخل في عمليات الولادة، وتنظيم جداول المرضى للاهتمام بهم بعد العملية، حيث أورد موقع العربية نقلًا عن ( سي ان ان)، أن باحثين من معهد “ماساتشوستس” التقني، قاموا بدراسة حول كيفية مساعدة الروبوت الذكي “ناو” للطواقم الطبية في توزيع المهام والمواعيد على مختلف الغرف الجراحية الخاصة بعمليات الولادة، وكانت النتيجة بأن 90% من الأطباء يأخذون بنصيحة هذا الروبوت الصغير.

كما بينت الدراسة أنه يمكن للروبوتات أن تحدث فرقًا إيجابيًّا في تنظيم جداول الأعمال، حيث يمكن أن يؤدي ذلك التنظيم إلى قدوم النساء في أي وقت للخضوع لعملية الولادة، وقد تعلم الروبوت بتقنية الذكاء الاصطناعي النمط الذي يتبعه الممرضون في تنظيم جداولهم، وقارن الجداول بطريقة حجز المواعيد، كما أنه يستطيع تقديم النصائح من حيث تحديد أنسب الغرف لوضع المرأة حديثة الولادة وبالتجربة فقد كانت أغلب نصائح ذلك الروبوت دقيقة ومماثلة لرأي الأطباء.

The latest step that has been taken to simplify our social media usage, is merging Instagram and Facebook messenger into one App.

According to Techcrunch.com, this new feature is going through various tests that allows you to import your Instagram contacts into messenger, also making it easier to sync your Instagram and Messenger accounts with one another, By clicking People tab and tap on the new option “Connect to Instagram” to add your Instagram contacts to the list of friends you can reach with Facebook’s instant messaging application. You can also add your Instagram contacts from the Messenger sign-up flow, if you’re a new user.

What about privacy?

To assure privacy only your mutual friends on Instagram will be imported so no Instagram followers will be able to spam you on messenger.

We also recall the merging of “Stories “move between Facebook and messenger.

Considering Instagram messenger being a heavily used feature worldwide, this huge leap will create even a bigger base of users.
